Not sure what wording and how many words works best. Here are some words. Pick what you want! Colombia is easy and quick to get to from USA. Many non-stop flights. Safe to visit and travel. Friendly, helpful people. FishColombia provided extraordinary trip to me in Jan. 2018. Huge peacock bass and payara in very remote, unspoiled area. All needs and travel accommodations handled well. Tour guide excellent English. Very reasonably priced. I recommend the trip highly, and urge others to go while the trips are still available and the area unspoiled.

We run our operation January through April. This coincides with the dry season, this is when the rivers drop and the fish enter the main channels and lagoons, creating an underwater world teaming with an abundance of predatory fish seen nowhere else.

EASTER PACIFIC OCEAN:

While this is a great all year fishery, each month of the year brings a completely different array of game fish. We recommend you plan your trip around your target species.

JANUARY AND FEBRUARY:

This is the offshore season. Considered the best time to catch a black marlin, blue marlin, 100+ pound yellowfin, “grande” sailfish and trophy dorado. This is also the time where the amberjacks pile up, creating extremely good jigging opportunities.

MARCH AND APRIL:

Best months for large yellowfin. The Marlin are also around but less common than January-February. It can also be one of the best time to target inshore species on topwater plugs.

MAY - JUNE

SAILFISH TIME. The bait ball migrations come in from southern waters and behind them come the huge schools of sailfish. Not uncommon to get multiple bites per day including double and triple hookups. Inshore fishing peaks during this time of. Trolling live baits you can expect big roosterfish every day as well as the elusive Pacific Tarpon.

JULY - AUGUST

The marlin come in close to shore again. This month brings cooler weather much more enjoyable than during the warmer months (January – February) and the inshore fishing for Cubera Snapper is red hot during these months.

SEPTEMBER - NOVEMBER:

September means WAHOO! We get a lot of them this time of year and big ones. The inshore bite is also good during this time as well as a great time to target both black and blue Marlin in current lines offshore.

DECEMBER:

Great all around month. We frequently find huge schools of dorados, sailfish, Cubera, jacks and amberjacks feeding off bait balls right up to shore. Excellent month to target fish on topwater plugs especially Cubera snapper. It’s a great month for a variety of fish.
