Caño Bocón is a black water river in eastern Colombia famous for the monster size of its peacock bass. The entire trip we will be fishing an Indian Puinave reserve with restricted access, guaranteeing (we will be the only people fishing these waters during our stay).

DAY 1:
Arrive to Bogota
Rest at a hotel provided by Fish Colombia
DAY 2:
join the main guide in the hotel to take an 8:00 am flight to Puerto Inírida from the Aeropuerto El Dorado. At your arrival inPuerto Inírida our driver will be waiting for you for a short ride to the town´s Rio Inírida’s dock where you will depart to the camp site on the fishing skills. The boat trip takes approximately 5 hours; we will arrive to the camp site around 4 p.m.

A local experienced Puinave fisherman as well as an English speaking translator will help you make the most of your fishing experience.

WILDLIFE
The Amazon is the most biodiverse region in the planet. The entire river is a protected area with pristine rainforest.
Expect to run into wildlife during your stay including many iconic species like the Amazon river dolphin, tapiris, the green anaconda, giant otters and the elusive jaguar.
THE LAST DAY
On the 7th fishin day (day 9), we will fish downstream as you try your luck at the spots that were the most promising as you worked your way up the river. We will fish until 4:50 PM, when the skiffs will meet up to head back to Puerto Inirida.
Our last night will surely be a mixed bag of emotions as the group shares tales of their life changing adventure over dinner before finally calling it a night at a sharming local hotel all included.
The next day (day 10) you will fly out to Bogota after breakfast, around noon time.
